The 2010 Major League Baseball Home Run Derby (known through sponsorship reasons as the State Farm Home Run Derby) will pit four sluggers each from the National and American Leagues against one another in a home run hitting contest.
The derby will be held Monday, July 12, 2010 at the site of the 2010 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, Angel Stadium of Anaheim in Anaheim, California.
The event will be broadcast live on ESPN, ESPN 3D and ESPN Deportes. In addition, it will also be broadcast internationally on Rogers SportsNet in Canada, and ESPN America in Europe. The scheduled start time is 8 PM US EDT (5 PM US PDT).
